A chance for a child to attend a quality and affordable program in a safe and caring environment. Bags of groceries from our food pantry when families need it the most. A homeless person able to take a warm shower in a clean location. A senior able to enjoy a cup of coffee during a spirited game of Bingo. These are just some of the ways Friendly House makes a difference in the community. Every dollar of support will help Friendly House continue our mission of providing services and programs to those in need, strengthening our community one person and one neighborhood at a time.

We are all definitely facing challenging times, and Friendly House is no exception. In the past few months, Friendly House has received notice from local funders of a significant decline in program funding. Our agency has taken a step back to look at our programs and services, evaluate our resources and look for ways to keep operating efficiently. We have set future goals for ourselves and will maximize our effectiveness. Our dedicated staff and board members have vowed to tread these challenging times, even as we have all felt a mix of anxiety and pressure as the need for our services are in more demand than ever before, reaching a record number high!
